How are you today Dom?

Really good, really chill.

How did you find the shoot today?

I was a bit apprehensive when I woke up this morning because this was my first “profession” shoot but the photographer and everyone made me comfortable so it was chill and quite fun.

When did you start writing music?

I started writing music around the age of 16 when I was in a band then started branching out on my own. My best friend from the bands now my producer!

Have you always been good in the spot light or did it take some adjusting?

I need to adjust to it because I’m not naturally a confident person but once I’m at a gig or recording session I forget about all anxiety and everything like that and just do it.

What’s your favourite part about being a musician?

Playing live, writing, I guess just music in general I love it.

Where do you find your musical impulses come from?

Right now it comes from a lot of electronic bass producers but song writing wise I always listen to a lot of Lauryn Hill, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Bob Dylan and just a range of artists I love.

What’s the story behind only one?

Well last year I had a bit of a falling out with my friend and the song is an apology to them and its about being loyal to your close ones.

Are there any projects your working on or have in the pipeline?

Just writing my EP and rehearsing for upcoming gigs, me and my keyboard player just playing out to each other to get a feel for that live element.

Is it important to use your voice/songs as a way of teaching in some ways?

To myself for sure, every situation I’ve been through I write about it and then it gives me an outside perspective so I can reflect on it.

What do you get up to in your spare time?

Music most of the time, I listen to music more than I make it lol. I like movies, making coffee, drinking coffee and going out.

How would you describe your sound?

Its pop with an electronic and soulful element

Which are better sliders or flip-flops?

Sliders, not even a question.

Name one fashion trend you wish you could get rid of?

v-necks, get rid of v-necks most people would say crocs but I have no problem with them because I never wear them.

What essential items do you have to have on you wherever you go?

My phone for sure, cant go without it

What’s your favourite item of clothing?

I’m quite simple but I love my boots.

What can we expect from you in the next coming weeks videos, gigs?

Yes, so “The Only One” video is out now, check it out online.

Thanks for talking to us.

It was great being here.
